As the title mentions, I'm usually a big fan of their mystery boxes as they provide great value for the pieces.
However, this recent mystery box was a disappointment. As a XS girlie, previous boxes have taught me to size up. This time, the fit of the dress was just right, but the shirt was too big. I definitely did not have the chest size needed for the push up top. The shirt, while great for someone with ample chest size, left big gaps for me in the cups. The sizing on this was simply off and inconsistent.
The dress I received was a duplicate. My review is NOT about receiving a duplicate (this is the 3rd exact same dress), but rather the selection. I had received the dress twice when they last offered the mystery box. If you are looking for newer styles offered on the site, it would be better to purchase directly rather than getting the mystery box. The style offered in the boxes may be from last season (when I last purchased).
That said, both clothing pieces were made in thick material that will help to minimize areas that need additional support. The material was great in durability, but not much in terms of breathability (which is usually a great trade off when it comes to shapewear).
Although this recent box left me disappointed, I've definitely received great boxes from TA3 before. Go in with an open mind, and you may find something great. However, if you have a specific style or color you are looking for, it is better to purchase directly. This is a mixed bag…

Didn’t like with the shirt or the dress. The rhinestones on the dress make it look cheap.

i've always tried the swim here but have been curious about the clothes forever so thought this was a great opportunity to try it out. i am so happy i did! to get a really nice dress and amazing top for $200 is mind boggling these days. i can't wait to wear this!!
